The Orphan

I have to say that I was quite surprised by the events that unfolded in this movie. In the beginning it reminded me of the movie The Good Son in the sense that there is this child who appears to be quite innocent. Yet, she harbors the ability to do things with such ferocity and malevolence, that it can only be described as pure evil. The twist in the end is remarkably shocking leaving you with your jaw dropped and your eyes wide open! This was the best twist in a movie that I have seen in a long while.

Paranormal Activity

The most recent scary movie I've seen is "Paranormal Activity". I am a big fan of anything that has to do with ghosties! The film is portrayed as being a documentary, but it wasn't as scary as I was expecting. There are two endings to the movie. I'll admit that the first ending gave me a bit of a jump! That's what I'm looking for...a great scary movie that has me sitting on the edge of my seat while gripping my bag of popcorn! Unfortunately, I have yet to find that movie. Anyone have any good suggestions?

Horror Flix

This blogspot is going to explore the different horror movies that are out there. They can range from something new to the old B-rated stuff. I am a huge fan of anything horror. It doesn't necessarily have to be only the scary movies. It can consist of all the gory, chop 'em up serial killer, edge of your seat, or laugh your butt off type scary films. Personally, I am in search for a great horror flick that will make me jump out of my seat. Unfortunately, I do not scare easily, so finding a good movie has become quite a fun challenge for me. Perhaps through this blog, I will be able to get some ideas on what movies I might have missed...
