I have to say that I was quite surprised by the events that unfolded in this movie. In the beginning it reminded me of the movie The Good Son in the sense that there is this child who appears to be quite innocent. Yet, she harbors the ability to do things with such ferocity and malevolence, that it can only be described as pure evil. The twist in the end is remarkably shocking leaving you with your jaw dropped and your eyes wide open! This was the best twist in a movie that I have seen in a long while.
Sounds like an intriguing topic, I like the name Esther, a name suited for a depicted problematic child, i may have to look into this movie, although sometimes scary movies are too predictable!
ReplyDeleteSaw it! My husband and I figured out the twist about halfway through...still very creepy, though. Not a good advertisement for adoption!
